The waiter who served us was very professional and friendly. Ordered the French onion soup and the steak and they were lovely. The fries were super crispy. Definitely recommend

We found this hidden gem quite by accident. We stopped here for coffee over a weekend, read the menu and decided to return. We had an absolutely gorgeous lunch with friends yesterday and will certainly go back again. We did book fortunately as its small but very busy. Mid week they offer soup and a salad or sandwich for about 12. The food is very well presented and all very fresh and tasty, service was very good and there was a lovely ambience with some outdoor seating. Well worth a visit.

Cosy surroundings and a very pleasant atmosphere! Delicious cuisine and wonderful staff! My colleagues and I enjoyed it very much)

Very clean, nice welcome on arrival, great coffee, didn't eat this time but definitely on our next visit. Also dog friendly which is great. We'll be back.

We visited this beautiful place for a sunday roast meal with friends. Really enjoyed every course. The salmon, roast beef, aspen fries, dessert. Highly recommend this place also for the service, the wine and the interiors. Enjoyed every minute! Thanks a lot!

Absolutely beautiful!!!! I was seated immediately on a Saturday just as they opened at 12. The food came out fast and was served hot and fresh. I had the sea bass which was cooked perfectly, a nice crisp to the skin. The flavours were amazing. I would definitely recommend. I also had a choux bun for dessert which was a rich chocolaty delight!! The atmosphere was calming and relaxed and they had a great wine list. The South African Chenin blanc was superb!! The pricing was fair especially for Whalley and the menu had some very appealing dishes I’m wanting to try. Thank you guys, I will definitely be returning!

My partner and I stumbled upon this place on the way back from an overnight stay at the Forest of Bowland when we decided to stop off for something to eat on our way home. All I can say about this place is that they served me the best food I have ever eaten. I had the French Onion Soup to start, the Chicken Supreme for main and the Creme Brulee to finish. My goodness. It just got better and better with each bite. The staff were very helpful and professional and the service was prompt and efficient. I'm so glad we found this little gem. We are already planning our next visit.

Walked in without an appointment on a Sunday evening just by looking at the menu. Not being local and not being aware of what to expect this was definitely an amazing find for us. Has good vegetarian options too. Please ask for them and food tasted really nice and the portions were very good. Hospitality and service was top class... a good recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy some good food over a nice conversation...
